Craving Halal Food in Warsaw?

Updated: Mar 26

We were really craving halal & authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine as soon we got done with our tour of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. We decided to search for halal food options and "Secret Spice Restaurant" was the first one that popped up.

Sadly, the taxi we took from Old Town Warsaw to the restaurant ended up costing us quite a hefty amount but the food and service all made up for it.

Secret Spice Restaurant is run by a very humble lady who is quite passionate about cooking and has brought her passion to the city of Warsaw. We ordered the following mouthwatering dishes from:

Chicken Pakoras (chicken fillets fried in gram flour batter), Chicken Biryani (rice cooked with chicken curry), Chicken Karhai (chicken fried in a variety of aromatic spices), Garlic Nan (Indian flat bread).

For our drinks I ordered Sweet Lassi because WHO doesn’t love that right? And Sharib ordered Coke (die-hard fan of coke btw).

Funny story on our engagement my brothers decided to test Sharib. They poured two glasses with Coke and Pepsi, in each, and asked guess which glass had Coke in it. Of course, undoubtedly, he won that bet.

Anyways, we loved the quality and service so much that we went back again, the next day, to try something different from the menu: Chicken Sizzler with Nan bread.
